Returns & Exchanges
14-day return policy on most items
We want you to be completely satisfied with everything that you purchase from grow. You may return most items that you purchase from us within 14 days.
returnable items
Most merchandise purchased from grow may be returned or exchanged for store credit or a full refund (minus shipping costs) within 14 days of delivery.
Sale items, furniture, strollers, rugs, custom-made and made to order items, bottles, bath and body items (including soaps, shampoos, body lotions and hair brushes) cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
All returned items must be unused and unassembled, in original condition and in the original packaging, complete with all tags, instructions, and blank warranty cards. Clothing items must not have been worn, altered or washed, and all tags must be attached.
pre-authorization required
All returns require pre-authorization. Returns must be pre-authorized by calling 877-747-grow (4769) or emailing us to receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Returns should be properly packed and sent at the customer's expense to the address we provide you during authorization. Shipping costs will not be credited or refunded. Returns will not be processed without an RA number. grow is not responsible for returned items lost in transit. Therefore, we highly recommend returns be sent via a traced and insured shipping method.
If the return is not due to damaged merchandise or an error on our part, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. We will also deduct the amount we paid to ship the items to you from your refund.
If the item(s) sent was incorrect, or defective, please contact customer service by phone or email. Please do not send back these items prior to contacting us. Returned items must be in new condition to fully credit you for the return or exchange. Neither grow or our manufacturers can accept collect deliveries (COD's).
damages
Damages must be reported with 5 days of your delivery. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery and note any external damages with the shipper and report any damage claims to grow. If you have received an item that has been damaged during shipment, please email us 3 low-resolution digital photos (including one photo of the box that the item was shipped in) to customerservice@grow-kids.com. Claims received after 3 business days of delivery will not be processed.
Please keep all damaged packaging materials including the box which the shipment arrived in along with all inside contents. Please understand that packaging materials must be kept in the event that an item is damaged. If packaging materials are not kept, grow cannot process a damage claim.
If an item is determined to be repairable, replacement parts are shipped immediately upon receipt of a damage claim. If you have received a damaged product and choose to return an item rather than accept replacement parts, you will be refunded the retail price of your item less all return shipping charges.

All products are covered by the warranty policies of their respective manufacturers. If you have questions about the warranty for a specific product, or if you have questions on how to make a warranty claim, please contact us.
Shipping & Handling
free shipping on orders over $75
grow is currently offering free shipping on orders of more than $75 (excluding taxes). This offer is not valid on expedited shipping and on products from some manufacturers that require a mandatory freight fee. The products with mandatory freight fees are noted on the respective product page.
shipping prices + methods
Shipping and handling charges are based on the particular products in your order. We calculate the cost on the basis of product weight, size and shipping distance. grow ships via UPS and Fedex Ground, UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3-day select and honorable freight carriers designated by our manufacturers.
Please note that Saturday delivery is an extra cost and cannot be processed through our checkout. It is only available with UPS Next Day and UPS 2nd Day Air. If you are interested in Saturday delivery, please call our customer service to get a cost estimate and process your order.
Orders will ship by the method you select at check-out unless otherwise indicated on the product description page. If your order contains multiple items with differing availability, each item will ship by the method you selected as it becomes available.
Please allow 24 hours for orders to be shipped.
We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Most large furniture items ship via freight carrier and are not eligible for overnight, expedited, or free shipping.

Some of our furniture manufacturers require us to charge a mandatory shipping fee for curbside freight deliveries of their products.
Note: If you live within the Chicagoland area and desire white glove delivery inside of the home, we will apply the mandatory shipping fees paid at checkout toward your white glove delivery and assembly charges. (Any amount over will be refunded.)

All furniture deliveries are to the curbside via a freight carrier unless white glove delivery is chosen.
furniture deliveries within Chicagoland area
Customers within the Chicagoland area have the option of in-store pick up or white glove delivery and assembly. This service provides delivery within a 1 to 2 hour window on a day convenient for the customer. grow can deliver via white glove service on Saturdays. White glove delivery also provides delivery inside of the home to the designated room. White glove delivery requires that a non-pregnant adult be home for the delivery in case the delivery person needs light assistance to get large, odd-size boxes into the home. If assembly is chosen, all boxes and packaging are taken away for recycling.

note: If you are having items delivered via white glove delivery that require a mandatory ship fee, that fee will be applied to your white delivery and assembly service charge. Any amount over will be refunded. Therefore, customers that choose white glove delivery will not be charged the manufacturer's mandatory ship fee but will pay for white glove delivery and/or assembly.
If you would like white glove delivery and/or assembly, please choose the `in-store pickup' option at checkout. You will not be charged anything for this service at checkout. A customer service representative will call you once we receive your order to arrange the details.
in-store pickup
grow requires 24-hour notice before items can be picked up at the showroom location (1943 W. Division). Once we receive your order, we will call you to arrange the details. If you have a questions regarding the size of the items that you are picking up, please call us and we will provide box sizes in order to ensure that they will fit in your pick up vehicle.
Sales Tax
Items shipped within the state of Illinois will be charged a sales tax rate of 9.75%.
gift certificates
To purchase a gift certificate, please choose one of the pre-selected amounts on the website or call us. Please provide us with the gift recipient's first and last name and address where you would like the gift certificate sent. Also, if you would like to include a message, please provide a message at checkout.
We will mail out your gift certificate within 24 hours of purchase.
To redeem a gift certificate, please call or email us and we will process your purchase for you.
Our Privacy Statement
We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.
When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.
We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. But, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.

Your credit card is completely safe.
Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to insure your safety.
*Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.
Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.

Shopping Online
To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)
To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.
To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.
To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.
Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.
